Get an alert when an answer is out of range

An answer action can raise an alert, so that a manager knows straight away when something is wrong.

  1. Edit the question on the checklist's questions page.
  2. Click Add answer actions, then Add action.
  3. Set the answer that should raise the alert. For a number, use If answer below and or above, for example below 0 or above 5 for a fridge temperature in °C. For a yes or no question, use If answer is.
  4. Under Take the following action, choose the alert type, for example Major Alert or Minor Alert. The alert types available are set up under Settings → Alert Types.
  5. Save the question.

To make sure the right people are told immediately, turn on the Immediate Issue Warning notification under Settings → Notifications and choose who receives it. See Choose who gets notified.
