Show some questions only in certain situations
Question conditions hide questions until rules you set are met. A rule can be based on the answer to any earlier question in the checklist, on the check window, or on a process parameter.
Examples:
- Show the questions about the deep fat fryer only if the answer to "Which equipment is in use today?" includes the fryer.
-
Show the closing questions only during the Evening check window.
-
Open the checklist's Checklist Summary page, click More actions, then Question conditions.
- Click Add new condition and enter a Condition name.
- Click Add rule and choose the Rule type: Answer to another question, Checklist time window, or Answer to a process parameter.
- Set the Operator and Value for the rule. Add more rules if needed. The condition applies when all of its rules are met.
- Under Apply to questions, choose the questions to show when the condition is met.
- Save the condition.
A follow-up question, or a question that is used in a rule, cannot have a condition applied to it.
